ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES:
The use of oxitetraciclina and other antibiotics may produce an overgrowth of microorganisms resistant, including fungi. Patients with this risk should be monitored. If a new infection of non-susceptible bacteria or fungi develops during treatment, the appropriate therapy will be initiated. It is recommended not to wear contact lenses (hard or soft) during the treatment of an eye infection.

Use in children: The systemic administration of tetracyclines during dental development (last half of pregnancy, infancy, and children under 8 years old) may cause permanent discoloration of teeth and delay skeletal development. Although these effects are unlikely, the risk should be considered due to the topical application of tetracycline at low doses.
